How to Get a Refund for eBay FedEx Overbilling

Dear Ina,
I recently sold an item on eBay and shipped it FedEx Ground. I purchased the shipping label through eBay, making certain the weight and dimensions were accurate. 

About a week later I received another charge (56% more) for FedEx shipping. I could not get any help from FedEx over the phone as I did not have the account number, which was eBay's. 

I spent an hour and a half in the FedEx office. A very helpful representative helped me, got someone on the phone to talk with me, and I received an email address with instructions. As I had documentation showing my two charges paid I could email them to FedEx.

The email address they gave me is: remittanceresearch@fedex.com. In the subject line type "Proof of Payment" and attach the documentation. I received my overcharge refund in two days.

Could have just called Ebay and saved yourself 2 hours......they had some Fedex issues 2 weeks ago where Fedex charged everyone the non-discounted rate.

Calling eBay and actually getting a human is almost impossible.

I don't bother calling anymore, I go straight to the Ebay for  business Facebook page.
