eBay Removes Chief Strategy Officer from List of Leaders

eBay played a game of musical chairs with its "Our Leaders" page on its corporate website, and one executive is missing - its head of strategy.

Kris Miller joined eBay in 2014, and while missing from the page, she still lists her current position as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at eBay on her LinkedIn profile.

eBay also continues to list her as a board member of the eBay Foundation.

While Miller went missing from eBay's Our Leaders page, the total count went up thanks to the following additions:

Suzy Deering (VP, Global Chief Marketing Officer)
Rob Hattrell (VP, United Kingdom)
Eben Sermon (VP, Central and Southern Europe)
Jordan Sweetnam (SVP & General Manager, North America)

The changes to the eBay Leaders page occurred sometime in the past 2 weeks.

We also noted in Newsflash stories yesterday the departures of David Doctorow, eBay Head of Global Growth, and Ryan Moore, eBay Director of Communications.

End of the year I closed my store after over 12 years. Built business to over 700K and was growing at over 25% per year. eBay started going south and each year was worse. The list is long that drives good businesses away but the extremely  
poor search function is probably the worst. I stayed longer than I should have hoping for a turn around. Apparently ain't happening anytime soon!

eBay Chief Strategy Officer = how much can we steal all while doing as little as possible AND still get away with it all ?

I have a pet gerbil if eBay is seeking candidates for that job.

He has all the qualifications that eBay is looking for:

It breathes aka its alive
Its only concerned with itself
It always "promises" to be good
It poops alot (eBay is always giving sellers "sh_t"
Its got a short life span (like eBay brass)

I would like to see an analysis showing how much revenue the GTC scam has brought in since it started.

Every morning I go in to cancel my ending listings. It is a several process step because it gives several errors every time.

Recently one if my seller ID forces me to re-log in to end the listings and won’t take the password. I have to re-set. It has happened 3x.

GTC was the most brazen move  I have seen them take yet and that is saying something.

It would be great if new leadership could stop treating the sellers so unscrupulously but I fear it is baked into the cake, systemic.

They do not report numbers on their crimes, that is evidence for the government lawsuits that will follow soon on eBay extortion and illegal fee churning. eBay has lost class actions in the past running the very same Good Til Canceled automated fee generation scheme and paid out millions.

Whatever money they have stolen from sellers ruined the marketplace dynamic since sellers constantly pull inventory from eBay every month and the only way the moronic criminals gain it back is with free listing promotions if the sellers is still in business.

These are the bright sparks of the upper echelon of eBay. I decided to browse the Xmas Gift Exchange results on the forum. (Of course I couldn't sign in since I've been permanently exiled.

By the beginning of January, there were two exec no shows as far as I could tell. Jordan Sweetnam and Brian Burke. A few were late due to holidays. Get with the program guys.  

The funniest was one of the posts regarding Harry Tempkin's gift. His Giftee posted her a picture of her gift (an eBay blanket) and posted both his actual name and his eBay seller ID? Yikes. Not sure if I was an exec, I'd want my id posted anywhere. Isn't that against the board rules??? Hahahaha

He then posted his thanks to the member who gave him his present....again under his selling ID. Scaryboo. No, that's not his selling ID.
