Facebook holds training sessions around the country to help small businesses, and earlier this month it held Boost with Facebook Holiday Bootcamp events at 17 of its largest offices and hubs around the world.

“We know the holidays are one of the busiest times of the year for many businesses, so having the right resources and skills to manage your business during this time is critical,” Facebook wrote in a post this month. “According to a Facebook-commissioned Ipsos study, in 2018, nearly half of US shoppers had started shopping for the holidays in November or earlier.”

The training program was designed to help small businesses and nonprofits learn how to grow their business and get ready for the holiday shopping season.

It has more holiday-preparation workshops planned. The Boost with Facebook Holiday Bootcamp will be held on November 4th in Charleston, SC; November 8 in Manchester, NH; and November 13 in Des Moines, IA.

The company also hosts regular Facebook Boost events for small businesses and entrepreneurs, which it describes as follows:

“Whether you’re completely new to social media marketing or a seasoned pro, Boost with Facebook offers a variety of courses to help you get the most out of our family of apps, tools, and services. Check out our 2-3 day trainings, foundational half-day workshops, and community events, where you’ll connect with and learn from other inspiring business professionals like you.”

  1. “We know the holidays are one of the busiest times of the year for many businesses, so we’ve found a gratuitous way to try to grab your money and shoehorn our FaceBook into your already overloaded routine.”
