Retailers Get a Boost with UPS ShopRunner Deal

It’s hard to compete with Amazon Prime’s free-shipping program, but retailers who participate in the rival ShopRunner program got a boost today from UPS. The shipping carrier is offering members of the UPS My Choice program a free 1-year subscription to ShopRunner.

The UPS My Choice program provides members with tracking and delivery alerts and lets them change the delivery address for a particular package, or even tell UPS drivers where to leave their packages, such as the back porch.

Now, members also receive a year of complimentary subscription to ShopRunner, giving them access to two-day shipping, returns, and seamless checkout at more than 100 retailers including Ann Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Chico’s and Kate Spade New York.

No credit card is required for the free ShopRunner membership through UPS, more information is available on the UPS website.

UPS Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Warren said, “Retailers benefit by connecting to the UPS My Choice customer base, which is comprised of savvy and loyal shoppers.” Retailers interested in joining the ShopRunner network can learn more on the ShopRunner website.
