As the fashion world gathers in New York for a week of style revelry, eBay is inviting stylish shoppers around the country to be a part of #MyFashionWeek, which will celebrate incredible looks from real people. Marrying its new “Shop the Look” image recognition technology with the art of fashion illustration, eBay is introducing a new destination to shop one-of-a-kind fashion sketches – just in time for fall.

eBay has enlisted the style world’s most talented artists to create shoppable fashion sketches on eBay.com/MyFashionWeek with dynamic “Shop the Look” technology, spotlighting trends and brands available now. Influential fashion illustrators including Jenny Walton, Dallas Shaw, Jessica Durrant, Alex Kim and Holly Nichols will capture the spirit of real, stylish individuals handpicked from eBay’s community of 171 million shoppers worldwide.

“eBay lets people everywhere define their own approach to style, curating inspiring looks and attainable finds for everyone,” said fashion illustrator Jenny Walton. “My illustrations have always been inspired by unique street style, and #MyFashionWeek makes that very inspiration shoppable – letting me browse and buy brand-new and coveted vintage finds that suit my own unconventional look, in a never-before-done way.”

The cutting-edge “Shop the Look” experience curates eBay’s 1.1 billion listings, serving up shoppable sketches on the eBay Fashion homepage. Shoppers can follow the hashtag #MyFashionWeek on Instagram and Twitter to see more fall style inspiration from around the country.

What’s more, now through September 14, shoppers can enter for a chance to get their own personalized fashion sketch with an eBay gift card by commenting on an Instagram photo using #MyFashionWeek, #sweepstakes and @eBay. All Instagram profiles must be public to enter.

“eBay Fashion is designed to help shoppers express themselves, and find that perfect item that’s missing from their wardrobe – whether it’s a bold, embellished coat, classic Chelsea boots or life-changing denim,” said Jill Ramsey, Vice President of Merchandising at eBay. “#MyFashionWeek illustrates the thrill of finding style inspiration from the world around you through the seamless shopping experience that eBay delivers.”

Offering an incredible selection of apparel, accessories, shoes and more, eBay Fashion is the ultimate destination for inspiring looks and great deals this fall, with styles starting at just $19.99. Shoppers can easily navigate the marketplace to find must-have fall trends like embroidered denim, flannel, velvet and faux fur or filter their search by size, color or the brands they know and love – like Adidas, Citizens of Humanity, Alice + Olivia, J. Crew, Free People, Topshop and more.

eBay is a leader in on-the-go shopping, with a pair of women’s shoes sold via mobile every 8 seconds in the US. eBay is also making shopping smarter with artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to redefine the mobile browsing experience.

Later this fall, eBay will also launch Image Search and Find It On eBay, allowing shoppers to use pictures instead of words to find their perfect item from eBay’s catalog of 1.1 billion items.

– With Image Search, simply take a photo – or pick one from your camera roll – of something you want to buy and put it into the Search bar on the eBay native app to instantly receive listings matching what you are looking for.

– Find It On eBay is a new feature in the eBay app and mobile platform that allows shoppers to share images from any social platform or web browser. All you have to do is “share” the image with eBay and our mobile app will find listings of the item in that image, or others like it.

Delivering in-demand style to your doorstep, eBay Fashion offers fast and free shipping, making it simple to express your individual style.
