Does Your Ecommerce Business Deserve an Award?

Internet Retailer magazine is accepting nominations for its annual Excellence Awards that will be presented during the IRCE conference in Chicago in June.

The Internet Retailer Excellence Awards, now in their second year, recognize the achievements and innovations of e-retailers, consumer brand manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers who sell to business buyers online.

The Home Depot won the inaugural Internet Retailer of the Year award in 2015, and Dollar Shave Club won the E-Retail Growth Award. Web Redesign of the Year went to Signature Hardware, seller of kitchen and bath products, which transformed its text-based, database-centric site. A complete list of 2015 winners is available on the InternetRetailer.com website.

In 2016, the categories are being expanded from 10 to 13:

Web Redesign of the Year
E-Retail Marketer of the Year
Best Marketing Video of the Year
Best Product Video of the Year
The Mobile Commerce Award
B2B E-Commerce Website Design of the Year
B2B E-Commerce Marketer of the Year
B2B E-Commerce Player of the Year
Omnichannel Retailer of the Year
Emerging E-Retailer of the Year
The E-Retail Growth Award
Global E-Retailer of the Year
Internet Retailer of the Year

Kurt Peters, Executive Editor of Internet Retailer magazine, said the goal of the awards was to highlight best practices that all online retailers can learn from. “The greater number of award categories will provide more knowledge to the industry and thus more ways for e-retailers to improve their operations.”

Three finalists will be chosen in each category.

Vertical Web Media, publisher and owner of InternetRetailer.com, Internet Retailer magazine, and Top 500 Research, will host the awards. The deadline for submissions is February 15, learn more on InternetRetailer.com.
