Etsy Offers Sellers Early Access to New Stats

Etsy is giving sellers the opportunity to gain early access to its Stats tool before it rolls out to all sellers. More accurate data for all Etsy channels and social media sites are among the new features. The company published the following post on the Etsy Announcement Board:

Starting today, we’d like to invite you to opt in early and explore our redesigned Stats tool before it launches to all sellers. Here’s what’s new:

  • Data for all your channels: Etsy, Pattern, Wholesale, and Etsy Studio
  • New visualizations and data about your social media, listings, and customer interests
  • More accurate data that filters out bot and spam activity, and calculates a new metric, visits, which shows the number of people looking at your shop and items

You’ll likely see different numbers between old and new Stats because of how often Stats updates (every 3-5 hours) and how we’re collecting data. If you have any questions, please check out this FAQ.

There are also a few features still upcoming, including more insight about your traffic sources, and a backfill of your data. Stay tuned!

This will opt you into a temporary prototype team – please note that we aren’t able to monitor the content in this team. We encourage you to discuss Stats with fellow sellers in the Forums instead.
