eBay UK Advises Sellers on Royal Mail Returns

eBay

eBay logoeBay advised sellers in the UK about Royal Mail’s new return postage prices and weight bands when using the eBay returns process. The new fees for Royal Mail Tracked Returns take effect on March 23rd.

For example, when sellers use Royal Mail as their return carrier, the price with VAT for a package weighing up to 2 kg is £3.05. There are four tiers, with the price for a package weighing between 10-20 kg at £9.60.

With the eBay UK returns process, sellers who specify in the Returns policy section of a listing that they accept returns means that a buyer can start a return for that item for any reason, including changing their mind about a purchase (buyer’s remorse, as it’s called).

Sellers can set “Return rules” to automate certain aspects of the returns process, which eBay says also expedites refunds to buyers.

Sellers can learn more about returns and how to set preferences on this eBay UK help page.
