eBay Canada Revamps Discussion Boards on Tuesday

eBay

eBay logoUPDATE 1/10/18: eBay Canada has launched the new updates to the eBay Community and has solicited comments in this discussion board thread.

eBay told users in Canada that Tuesday, January 9th, was the big day for the discussion board revamping. As we reported in November, eBay said the changes to the Canadian site would be similar to those implemented on eBay.com, which it said were launched “after significant consultation with eBay’s seller community.”

At the time, eBay said it had specific goals in mind: “to modernize the overall look and feel of the platform, centralize seller communications to make them easier to find, and add functions that will improve the way our Community members engage with each other.”

Sellers may wish to document any favorite discussions in the event the changes make them more difficult to find.

Announcement follows:

As we announced a few weeks ago, tomorrow we’ll be introducing enhancements and updates to the eBay Community, including our Discussion and Announcement boards.

Once the changeover begins on Tuesday, January 9th, there should be no disruption to the eBay Community while the changeover is in process, and the current Announcement Board platform will remain available for important updates.

As always, thank you for selling on eBay – and for being a part of the eBay Community.
