Amazon is strutting its stuff not only on the fashion runways, but on airport runways as well. Southwest Airlines will let passengers make in-flight entertainment purchases through Pay with Amazon, according to TechFlash. “Rather than pulling out a credit card, passengers accessing the onboard entertainment portal now can purchase WiFi, messaging and movies using Pay with Amazon. When asked for payment, passengers who select the Pay with Amazon option will be directed to log in with their Amazon account information.”
Amazon has also launched seven trademarked fashion brands, according to Quartz, citing a report from Wall Street firm KeyBanc Capital Markets. and WWD. “Amazon is selling a wide variety of items, including women’s clothing and bags, men’s tailored wear and accessories, and even children’s clothing. They exist under the labels Society New York, Lark & Ro, Scout + Ro, Franklin & Freeman, Franklin Tailored, James & Erin, and North Eleven.
