eBay is running several promotions for sellers in the UK, but as usual, it is excluding business sellers from the promotions. In this promotion that kicked off on Sunday, eBay is giving invited sellers up to 100 free listings – and is also giving them 25% off final value fees for those that end in a sale.
The 3-day promotion ends on October 4th, and sellers must actively opt in to the promotion before listing their items.
This promotion is also for UK residents who are registered private sellers and is also by invitation only. It allows participants to list up to 100 listings per day and pay no insertion fees, and runs for three months: October 1st through December 31st.
Sellers should be sure to read their invitations carefully. In this promotion, eBay excludes short-duration listings.
One seller said it is driving them crazy that business sellers are excluded from such promotions and said they are once again seriously considering whether to drop their eBay Stores.
