eBay Runs 15 Percent Off Post-Christmas Flash Sale

eBay is running a sitewide flash sale today, December 28, where shoppers can save 15% off. It’s also running a post-Christmas sale on eBay Deals (a subset of the marketplace).

Shoppers can use the coupon code POPUPSAVINGS by 6 pm Pacific Time on December 28, 2018, to receive 15% off items, for a maximum savings of $100. The usual category exclusions apply, and the coupon must be used within a single transaction (which can include multiple eligible items).

This year eBay has heavily engaged in flash sales. Sellers have no objections to eBay subsidizing flash sales (since they don’t impact seller profit margins and can drive shopper interest), but some do have concerns that it encourages shoppers to hold off on purchases while waiting for the next sale to occur.
