eBay Runs Flash Sale in Toys on Day 9 of December Dozen Campaign

eBay is running a flash sale in toys today as part of its “December Dozen” holiday marketing campaign, which it kicked off on December 5.

For Day 9, shoppers can receive 15% off eligible items in the following categories: Toys & Hobbies, Dolls & Bears by using the coupon code “PLAYTIME15” during checkout. The coupon must be used within a single transaction (which can include multiple eligible items), and is good through 11:59 PM PT today, December 13, 2018.

(We’re a bit confused as to why the banner advertising the sale indicates video games are included, while there’s no mention of video games in the terms.)

The gist of the sale is described in the Terms and Conditions:

“The Coupon is a 15% discount, valid from 4:00 AM PT on December 13, 2018 until 11:59 PM PT on December 13, 2018. No minimum purchase required. The Coupon discount is capped at a maximum value of $100. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of an eligible item on ebay.com, ebay.ca, and cafr.ebay.ca. Eligible items include items purchased from the following categories: Toys & Hobbies, Dolls & Bears. Coupon must be used within a single transaction (and can include multiple eligible items), while supplies last. Max one redemption per user.”
