eBay notified sellers in the UK that it was adding 16 additional countries to its Global Shipping Program (GSP), bringing the total number of countries to over 100.
When an item is sold through the GSP program, the seller sends the item to a UK address, and eBay’s GSP partner takes over from there to ensure the package gets to the international seller.
eBay UK Announcement follows:
Dear sellers,
On eBay, you have a shop window to the world. We’ve just made it even bigger.
The Global Shipping Programme enables you to sell internationally as easily as selling to someone in the UK. All you need to do is send your orders to the UK Shipping Centre and we’ll take care of the customs, clearance, tracking and all the rest.
We’ve just expanded the reach of the programme by adding the following non-EU countries:
Bahamas
Bahrain
Colombia
Costa Rica
Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
Jamaica
Kuwait
Panama
Philippines
Qatar
Trinidad and Tobago
Uruguay
Vietnam
You can now post items to over 100 countries worldwide.
Find out more about selling internationally with the Global Shipping Programme.
Thanks,
The eBay Team
