  1. eBay gives less than 2 days notice and will announce on Wednesday so sellers can plan their week?! My only questions are:

    1) What new schemes for money are they trying this time?
    2) What ridiculous new “standards” will they be forcing on everyone? Coming from a company which has no standards in their performance, or more accurately non-performance.
    3) How many of the new schemes and standards will be virtually unannounced which will have to be discovered by individuals that don’t want to be screwed over? With eBay it’s always in the hidden small print.
    4) How much worse will the already broken site become after this update? After which they’ll never attempt to fix anything. But of course they’ll say they’re “diligently working on it 24/7”.

  2. Here we go:

Basically every update involves these 3 things:

There will be 1/2 dozen things broken in the process,
There will be at least 2 or 3 things that totally piss off a large amount of sellers.
There will be at least 2 or 3 small changes that will gross them a ton of money.
There will be a least a couple of changes that will cause them to loose some buyers.

  3. ebay app just alerted to new updates. click on notification. get taken to updates page. click on spring 2020 update. taken to fall 2019 update. fantastic technical prowess. perhaps someone sent alert early.

  4. The mangled payments issue is what has me ready to bail as soon as it goes into effect July 2020– simply do not trust fleecebay with my bank account. Maybe a separate account may be inorder. So between Etsy’s obscene new forced “Ad program” and greedbay’s hands in our back pockets deeper than ever, what platforms are seller friendly now?
