If you aren’t attending the eBay OPEN event for sellers in Las Vegas this week, you can still catch some of the sessions. eBay will be more than “webcasting” parts of the event – it’s making it a “virtual” conference.
The company explained that viewers from home could virtually walk the exhibit hall and attend the general session on Wednesday. “You’ll also have access to the virtual show resource center, where you can download copies of event materials: presentations, best practices, tips and tricks, partner info, etc.,” it explained.
The actual eBay OPEN event is taking place at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, kicking off on Tuesday evening with a reception. eBay CEO Devin Wenig and SVP Hal Lawton will keynote the event on Wednesday morning.
eBay is charging $199 to attend the event, where it promise to provide insights into its long term strategy and provide updates on eBay seller tools. Virtual attendance is at no cost, you can sign up on the eBay website.
